Under his leadership, JMS has grown from a specialized IT staffing company into a broader talent partner serving multiple industries, known for its collaborative approach and commitment to long-term success. The company's core values remain central to how JMS operates every day. Outside of work, Joel is a husband and father of four. In the winter, you'll find him on the slopes skiing with family and friends. He's also inspired by Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger's practical, long-term approach to business.

Jacob has been working alongside Joel Shapiro since 2021 building JMS together and focusing on driving exceptional growth, leading our high-performing team, and ensuring every client and candidate has an exceptional experience. Disrupting the industry and always challenging the status quo. He is passionate about leading from the front, building a culture where excellence and empathy go hand in hand, and creating an environment where both people and businesses can succeed. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, working out, and exploring Buffalo's best wing spots.

With a background in client success and operations, Stephanie focuses on keeping processes running smoothly while building strong relationships. She has supported teams across staffing, corporate luxury, and retail environments. She thrives in fast-paced environments, bringing structure, clarity, and efficiency while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Stephanie is known for catching the details others miss (whether they want her to or not). She loves bringing people together and can usually be found at a Bills, Yankees, or Sabres game when she's not working.

Joel is a recruiter who operates more like a closer than a résumé shuffler. He reads between the lines—connecting job requirements with real-world experience to make hires that actually stick. Whether it's ERP specialists, cloud architects, or demand planning leaders, Joel focuses on impact—not buzzwords. He understands the business side as much as the technical side, so he's not just filling roles—he knows how to solve problems. Joel has been married for 20 years and is a father of four, so he knows a thing or two about responsibility, consistency, and managing chaos! He is based in South Carolina.

With nearly a decade of experience in staffing and talent acquisition, Vinny focuses on building strong relationships and delivering results across industries including sales, HR, manufacturing, engineering, and executive search. With a competitive mindset shaped by his background as a college athlete, he takes a personal approach—helping candidates find the right opportunities while building trust with clients through clear communication and follow-through. Vinny is originally from North Collins, NY. He dreamed of being a pro baseball scout before getting into recruiting. He is red/green colorblind (which somehow hasn't slowed him down!).

John brings over 10 years of recruiting experience, specializing in technical roles. He has worked both in corporate recruiting and agency settings, focusing on matching candidates with opportunities that align with their long-term goals. He approaches his work with empathy and understanding, recognizing that every candidate and client brings a unique set of circumstances to the process. John is a father of three (including twins—so he knows busy!). He's a diehard fan of the Bills, Sabres, Reds, and Knicks. He's also a proud recipient of the 2025 "Excellence in Delivery" BETA award.

With over 14 years in the staffing industry, Jim specializes in connecting top talent with organizations across manufacturing and engineering. He focuses on building long-term partnerships and helping both clients and candidates achieve meaningful growth. Jim takes a hands-on approach—meeting clients in person, touring facilities, and gaining a true understanding of the environments he supports. Jim is a lifelong sports enthusiast who still competes in golf and basketball leagues. He loves spending time with his wife, two kids, and their two dogs. He's always up for pizza and wings!

Amy is a senior talent acquisition leader with expertise across IT, Engineering, Accounting & Finance, Administrative, and Operations roles. She partners with organizations to identify high-impact talent that strengthens teams and drives long-term success. Known for her structured, insight-driven approach, Amy believes great hiring happens through clear communication, strong alignment, and a thoughtful candidate experience. Outside of work, Amy is competitive by nature—often playing volleyball or pickleball. To her, a Buffalo summer = floating in the pool. Or, you may find her enjoying concerts, comedy, and travel (especially if Randy Houser is involved).

With over 16 years of experience in the food, manufacturing, and petroleum industries, Jennine brings a strong understanding of business, operations, leadership, and talent to JMS Talent Partners. She is passionate about building meaningful partnerships and connecting organizations with the people they need to grow. Outside of work, Jennine enjoys cooking up new recipes, spending time with her husband and two boys, and making their annual trip to Walt Disney World a family tradition.

Zoe brings more than five years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition, specializing in IT, engineering, and technical staffing. With a background in full-cycle recruiting, she knows how to connect the right people with the right opportunities. Zoe takes a relationship-driven approach to recruiting, combining strong communication and attention to detail with a genuine understanding of what candidates and clients need to be successful. A former NCAA Division II basketball player, Zoe brings an energetic, competitive, and team-oriented mindset to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, seeing live music, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills!
